THE RETAIL BLOODBATH CONTINUES

Yesterday, I Googled the question,

“ How many retailers are filing bankruptcy or closing in 2017?”

(About 2,040,000 results)

As of June, 2017- 345 retailers have filed for bankruptcy

so far this year.

Some will blame the economy, but most analysts will tell you that these retailers did not make the necessary changes  as more consumers went online for their shopping needs. I simply call it, “A Kodak Moment”

Digital, without a doubt, since Kodak, has transformed almost every corner of our lives. Yet, unfortunately, as we can see by the headlines, there are still a percentage in the USA that are still living in their “somewhere else land”

BUT ...

Our World Is Changing...

Is it 1996 all over again?

People would ask, 'What is a website?' and 'Why do I need a website?' Today the same thing is happening with Apps.

Unlike any other new product, public adoption of the App is happening at lightning speed. Businesses offline and online are falling fast behind.

Make no mistake about it please. The Internet is changing. You can do all the research you want entirely on your own but the proof is there. Apps are replacing websites, because smartphones are replacing laptops and PC's.

In fact, smartphones are outselling laptops and PC's 12-to-1 on a daily basis. You can see this data yourself, and just a warning it takes a long time for this site to load because it is real time data and there is a lot of it, at www.InternetLiveStats.com .

There is no argument to be made - your customers are on their smartphones!

"The average American adult over 18 spends 2 hours and 51 minutes a day on their smartphone, and average sending 34 text messages. And roughly 90% of the time spent on a smartphone is spent using apps. " (This info courtesy of Wall Street Daily)
When Apple approved our App, they told our company that it was the best marketing and communication App that they have ever approved.
